• Support the production environment, manage risks and ensure high uptime.
• Work with development staff to identify problems and implement fixes
• Work with marketing and development staff to bring new products and features into the production environment
• Build and automate the provisioning of infrastructure resources, primarily leveraging scripting languages
• Automate the deployment of new applications
• Participate in on-call rotation

experience

• 3+ years of experience with Linux systems administration
• Knowledge of network topologies, load-balancing, VPN, firewall
• 2+ years experience in MySQL operations
• 2+ years experience with bash scripting
• Experience with any of these languages is a plus:  Ruby, Python, Perl
• Experience with Puppet, CFengine, or Chef configuration management systems, is a plus
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Understanding of cloud computing, devOps, is a plus
